On 8th April, the commissioning ceremony of scientific research achievements on goji berry polysaccharopeptide researched by Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry was held in Ningxia, Zhongning. It is reported that this is the first deep processing production line to distill goji berry polysaccharopeptide, which made 4000 tons of dried fruits, produced 5 tons of goji berry polysaccharopeptide and 80 million pieces of goji berry polysaccharopeptide every year. And it will bring 5 billion of annual output value. This smooth production marks there will be a breakthrough on cooperation of Chinese Academy of Science and Ningxia Institute of Local Enterprise, and marks a new period of developing characteristics of industry of goji berries in Ningxia, and it will bring great social and economic benefits.
It is reported that a new round of science and technology agreement was signed by Chinese Academy of Science and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in 2016. They will maximize their advantages on high level of innovativetalents and integrated technology to promote cooperation and play a supporting role in promotion of technology of Ningxia characteristic products and transfer and transformation of scientific achievements. Liu Fei, the Deputy Party Secretary of SIOC, said that the transformation base of scientific achievements of goji berry polysaccharopeptide in SIOC will focus on the basic functions and new products of goji berry to do researches. They will be committed to promoting industrial transformation and innovative development.
